Magnus Winbjörk was born and raised in Gällivare, a small community in the north of Sweden.
He early discovered his interest in music, partly because his father was a keyboardist in a dance band. Magnus started his music carrier by playing the electric base in the municipal music school.

When he was 14 years old he started composing his very first songs with what was then the very advanced Amiga 1200 =).
It was then that the interest in tracker programs and synthesizers started growing. Magnus still devoted a lot of his time to the electric base and he played in a few different bands, everything from Jazz to Heavy Metal.
One of the bands he played in performed music from the 1960’s at parties and other events. But in the end of his high school years creating music electronically began taking over.

Since artists like U96, Capella, Captain Hollywood Project and DjBobo were really big back then it wasn’t really a surprise that Magnus created music with influences from what people call “EuroDisco”.

Recently Magnus has discovered that EuroDisco has become somewhat of a permanent brain damage. No matter what music he’s trying to create those influences always seem to find it’s way into every song. While Vocal Trance dominates in the speakers at home, EuroDisco is still what it’s all about for Magnus when it comes to creating music, for example the song “Dreams”.
